Who Is Dana Chiles?
Who Is Dana Chiles?
By Sophia McMaster
To be honest, we interviewed and researched Dana Chiles with the expectation of an entirely different result and opinion. However, who he is was entirely unexpected and previously unknown to us. What we found was an entrepreneur who is a real estate investment enthusiast with a deeply seated passion for giving everyone the opportunity to live in decent and beautiful premises regardless of race, wealth, social standing or any affiliations that divide us. The things we discovered about his personal characteristics and interests were vast and as well very much unknown to most. We believe for the most part, by design.
To turn this passion to a viable reality, he has invested his time, money and resources to study and invest in real estate laws, regulations, policies and market trends to enable him to spot the opportunities available and to make a difference in people’s lives.
Dana seems to thrive on watching his actions changing people’s’ lives for the better. He says that he “always look forward to the next opportunity that I get in putting a decent roof over someone’s family of business”.
The Start and his Mark
Dana’s journey in real estate dates back when he was 20 years old. He had bought an income producing property for $47,000 in the City of Brockton MA and most people thought he had made a big mistake. However, he understood the market in-depth, and this turned out to be a great business decision and he hasn’t looked back since then.
Since then he has transacted 100s of millions of dollars in commercial and residential real estate ventures, land development and home construction. Additionally, he has revitalized and rehabilitated 100s of properties and residential housing units in and beyond Massachusetts. This combined several many large scale residential properties and hundreds of redevelopment ventures.
Dana explained to us that he needed a platform to create through which he could directly influence the transformation of not only depressed neighborhoods but also clients’ ideas into realities in all real estate matters. By coordinating architects, construction managers, structural engineers, quantity surveyors he could simplify the real estate processes of construction, renovation and valuation.
Dana has visible footprints in the Greater Boston and most communities of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Business Facts and Awards:

Their services are customized for different needs and budgets, and they say that they have “everything for everyone.” Moreover, their knowledge of real estate requirements and the market enables them to give their clients the best opportunities.
Startup and established Real Estate Development firms should invest in human and capital resources adequately before everything else. In doing so, they will not divert their focus to chasing after money which can compromise service delivery. Instead, they will be directing their skills and competencies towards carrying out feasibility studies, sourcing for the best material and expertise. This systematic sequence of operations will lead to good client experiences, reputation growth and eventually financial gain. Dana recognizes that none of his success came alone. It is the result of amazing people of whom he has and still aligns with that have made the vision a success. He said to us, “I don’t want to be the smartest person in the room. I just want to be the hardest worker in the room every single time!”
His areas of expertise are; real estate markets analysis, regulations laws, property development, construction management, property rehabilitation, and real estate investment. He enjoys working the most, as well as exercise, combat arts training and any precious free time with family and friends. There certainly have been sacrifices at his own choice. Having not been married or having children yet inspire him to seek balance he knows and looks forward that will come.
Some National and International real estate bodies have recognized Mr. Chiles for his efforts. Some of the recognition awarded are;
- Prudential Real Estate Affiliates in Easton MA, where he served as a director and was a Nationwide Chairman’s Circle Award at 22 years of age.
- The Leading Edge Award.
- The International Blade Fighters Guild Award.
Bumps in the Road
To point out an important fact, he has been tried and tested and proven to be worthy of operating this real estate ventures from the thousands of success stories from elated customers, clients and business partners. He has taken on the most challenging urban areas and revitalized neighborhoods at a time when others would not dare. In fact, he started his career recognizing these conditions, needs and providing solutions with the risk of his own capital and wealth. We learned from others of the hundreds of men and women his operations have employed and the thousands of vendors, suppliers and subcontractors he has provided opportunity for. Never do you hear of him talk about these facts. He remains humble in his accomplishments.
There have been some minor and a couple more significant setbacks and challenges. Some that were easily fixable and others that regrettable affected Dana himself and others as well. This bothers Mr. Chiles still to this day but he realizes and accepts that after so many successful relationships, clients, and transactions in his life spanned throughout his young career, that those people are his most appreciative but silent supporters. He also realizes that the unhappy minority speak the loudest and the perils of a failed venture or two, has a long lasting effect on many. With great risk and great gain, not everyone can or will be happy. It is not for this reason but for many other personal ones that he has always worked hard to correct his mistakes, learn and be even better. One is reinventing business models and at the same time making existing ones better. Another is learning from those mistakes. Also, learning from the people and his audience, and taking none of his successes or mistakes for granted while still working hard to give back. Dana tries to learn from all of his experiences from the past and forgetting no one deserving for the future. This has been his mission during the most successful and the most difficult times. He may be very much misunderstood in this regard by those who not close enough to truly know or witness is incredibly hard work.
It is difficult for a person to truly understand the life of a person like this if they have never or will never walk a day in their shoes. If for not for these types of individuals, many of us would not be working for businesses and would not have opportunity. Risk takers and business leaders don’t deserve a pat on the back. This is their choice for good or for bad results. They do deserve respect. Respect for the choices that others will not make.
We found that Mr Chiles is an entrepreneur, business leader, risk taker and opportunity provider. He works harder today at that mission than ever while still making all the same personal and professional sacrifices to lead by example. Seeking growth that can only come for tremendous commitment and faith. This is something we all can learn from
It has not been an easy road for Mr Chiles just as it is not been for any entrepreneur or business investor. It is just a long tough road traveled!
I asked Mr. Chiles to address what he would like to say to clients in general. Here is what he said, “First, I feel honored by your commitment and goodwill of all those who support and trust me or allow me to make a difference in your lives. Second, I would like you to know that it is you who have been giving me the energy to go on and the wisdom to improve and be better. Third, I would like to extend an olive branch to any and all who feel that their experience with our group has been less than excellent. Our goal is to make what is wrong, right and what is right, even better. These are my opportunities for growth and ones that i am thankful to learn from. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to all our clients speak so highly of what we do or have done for them and remain supportive always most often times silently. For that we are heartily grateful.
Dana Chiles is a fascinating man with vast business and real estate accomplishments born from years of personal sacrifice. We are honored to have met him and hope this article has given you an insight just in part as to him and as well his enterprises. We wish him the very best of luck.

ASO – App Store Optimization
Here are some thoughts to hopefully help steer you in the right direction for ASO (App Store Optimization).
So you want to rank in the app store huh?
It starts with thinking like the customer.
What kind of wording are they using when looking for your type of app?
Ultimately you need to get good reviews. There are ways that you can encourage this. Some apps will prompt users that return to use the app several times to post a review. If they are using the app repeatedly chances are that they like the app.
App store optimization is a complex subject but here is a list of things that you definitely need to be considering:
1. Try to use your keywords in your App Title.
2. Optimize you App Icon. Not too complex. Ideally it should speak about what your app actually does or its advangages (visually/quickly).
3. Utilize video if possible.
4. Localize your keywords. Translate your ASO efforts and your app into other languages.
5. Keywords in the App description are important for the store searches in matching you.
ASO is important. Around 60% of app installs are the result of searching in the App Store. Around 15% are from searching in the search engines.
Get started in your ASO efforts.
“Little by little you go far”.
